Looks like we are back again. It has been about a year and a half since I last posted but I regularly think about this blog and what it meant for me and how much I enjoyed doing it. As with everything, life got very busy and I just didn’t have the time to be able to sit down and blog to the level that I wanted to be able to do it. Work was crazy busy, life generally got crazy busy and I guess this just took a bit of a back seat for a while. It was while sitting eating some lunch that Jordan mentioned my blog again and I was reminded just how much I enjoyed writing so here we are again and hopefully here to stay. While life is still busy, I am hoping that I will have a little more time to post regularly.
A few little updates that I will write more about in the coming weeks, I guess I have to look back to June 2023 and see what’s been happening!
June 2023 – Jordan and I went to see my favourite ever artist, P!nk at Hyde Park. It was absolutely incredible and I am so happy that once more I got to see my favourite artist again. I am incredibly lucky to have seen her 3 times now! More on this later as there were some things to think about when going to a festival style event!
June 2023 – We got the beautiful Lincoln, our chocolate Labrador to join Archie as another member of our family. He is such a character and it has been a hell of a journey to have another puppy! Again, more on him later, he’s such a character he definitely needs his own post!
October 2023 – Honeymoon! Jordan and I went off to Morocco for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We shall have to see if that gets its own post, I think it might just be worth it!
March 2024 – Girls getaway Symonds Yat. All of my friends from school were going to turn 30 within the academic year and so we decided to go on a weekend away, with all of our partners to a large house in Symonds Yat. There was a hot tub and lovely times ahead. Probably more on that one later!
Middle of 2024 – we started our fertility journey. Definitely more on this one later.
October 2024 – a trip to the USA to see my Dad! New York and Washington, a bit of drama but a lot of fun.
In between all this there were dog walks, time with family, birthdays to celebrate, two christmases, a notable trip to Funky’s the skating rink when William decided he wanted Skates for Christmas, a new car (for Jordan and me), a lovely trip to London, Escape Rooms (Jordan’s new favourite, Warhammer needs an honourable mention, a couple of weddings for close friends, multiple attempts to get fit and lose some weight (more on that later), Paddleboarding adventures and another trip to the best place on Earth (Warner Bros studio).
All of this in between working full time and trying to make time for relaxing, it’s been quite a lot. So, now there has been a bit of a round up of the last year and a half, I will let you make your mind up as to whether you want to hear more about the adventures of the Moon family!
